Steve built us a wonderful platform for our dryer to sit on (yes, our dryer is on our back porch. There wasn't room anywhere else!) He did a few loads of laundry and noticed that it was pretty hard to bend down that far to clean the lint filter and get the clothes. And, being impecably (sp?) observant, he noticed that my belly is growing quite round and knew that soon it would be very difficult for me to do the laundry. So, the boys went out, got the supplies, and now our dryer is at eye level with me and is SO much easier to get to! THANK YOU STEVE! (so sorry I don't have a finished picture, I will have to take one and show you)
Elijah is just growing so much, and he's getting so much more coordinated. Just in the past 2 weeks he has started going down the slide on the playground by himself! And he has started being able to climb some of the play structure. We won't talk about what that does to this Momma's nervous system (and prayer life), we'll just focus on how exciting it is for him to gain these new skills and freedoms. He has LOVED having his Mimi and Topa here to take him down to play!
